Amblin presents a new horror and suspense movie. The Turning is starring Mackenzie Davis (Terminator: Dark Fate) and Finn Wolfhard (It: Chapter 2), the trailer shows us a strange mansion where Davis will have to babysit a girl and a teenager, both quite strange, the girl will be played by Brooklynn Prince (Angry Birds 2).
The Turning is based on Henry James' novel, The Turn of the Screw, which was the inspiration for several movies and series like The Innocents. The Turning movie was wanted to be made since 2017 but with another name, Haunted, in addition to having another script protagonists and director, but then Spielberg finalized the project and is now going to be released as The Turning.
The film is directed by Floria Sigismondi (The Runaways), and the director has several episodes of American Gods, Hemlock Grove and Daredevil. The Turning will arrive in Argentine cinemas on February 20 next year.
'Another twist', that mythical novel by Henry James of 1898, is more fashionable than ever. The book will be the basis for the plot of the second season of 'The Curse of Hill House', called 'The Curse of Bly Manor', but if with this we did not have enough, it turns out that the new horror film produced by Steven Spielberg, 'The Turning', is also based on this same book. In the film, a young woman is hired as a babysitter of two orphans, a young woman who is convinced that the rural mansion they live in is delighted. Floria Sigismondi has been in charge of directing the film, with Jade Bartlett writing the most recent draft of the original script, written by Chad and Carey Hayes ('The Wax House', 'Warren File: The Endfield Case').
